Day 01: Haridwar /Dehradun – Barkot (170 kms /07-08 hrs approx)

Upon Arrival at Dehradun Airport /Haridwar Railway Station meeting with driver then drive to Barkot via Mussoorie En-route visit Kempty fall. Upon arrival check in to the Hotel. Dinner & Overnight stay at Barkot.

KEMPTY FALL :

Gigantic Fall with somersault of the streams before hitting the bottom, Kempty Falls is the most popular and one of the oldest tourist spot near Mussoorie. Developed before more than 150 years ago by a British man, Kempty Falls is the most fascinating picnic spot or a perfect day out place nearby Mussoorie at a distance of 15 km.

Day 02: Barkot –Jankichatti – Yamunotri – Barkot (50 kms/ & 6 kms. trek one way)

After an early breakfast proceed to Yamunotri, 50 Kms drive up to Jankichatti then 6 Kms treks to Yamunotri (Doli /Pony options are available on direct payment basis ) here one can cook rice by packing it in a cloth and dipping it in the hot water of the hot kund. Pilgrims take this cooked rice home as “Prasad”. Here near the temple “Pooja” can be offered to Divya Shila, after taking bath in
Jamunabai Kund and having “Darshan” of “Yamunaji”, return back to Jankichatti, drive back to Barkot. Dinner & Overnight stay at Barkot.

YAMUNOTRI :

Maharani Gularia of Jaipur built the temple in the 19th Century. It was destroyed twice in the present century and rebuilt again. Yamunotri temple is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. Yamunotri is the source of revered river Yamuna which originates from the Champasar Glacier lying 1 km ahead of the shrine situated at an elevation of 3235mts above sea level. The approach is extremely difficult and pilgrims therefore offer Pooja at the temple itself. Yamunotri was the home of an ancient sage Asit Muni. Yamuna is the daughter of the Sun just like Yama who is considered his son. It is believed that Yama would not torment any person at the time of death who takes a holy dip in Yamuna, his sister.

SURYA KUND:

There are a Number of thermal springs in the vicinity of the temple, which flows into numerous pools. The most important is Surya Kund.

Day 03 : Barkot – Uttarkashi (100 Kms/ 4 hrs)

After breakfast drive to 100 Km.to reach Uttarkashi. Check in to hotel, evening free for relax & local temple visit. Dinner & Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.

UTTARKASHI:

Uttarkashi is a small and beautiful town, situated between two rivers; Varuna and Ashi, whose water flow into the Bhagirathi from either side of the town. Elevated, at a height of 1588 meters, this little town is very similar to Kashi and Varanasi, in that it has the same kind of temples and Ghats and likewise, a north or ‘Uttar’ facing river. The major temple is the Vishwanath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Two other very important temples are located in the Chowk area. These are the Annapurna Temple and the Bhairav Temple. It is said, that once there were 365 temples here. Hiuen Tsang referred to this place as Brahma Puran, while the Skanda Puran has recorded it as Varunavata. It is believed that in the second millennium of Kaliyug, Kashi will be submerged, and Uttarkashi will replace it as an important religious centre.

Day 04 : Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (90 kms one way /4 hrs. drive one way)

After breakfast leave for Gangotri early in the morning, Post offering prayers & pooja darshan at Gangotri Temple later drive back to Uttarkashi, Dinner & Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.

GANGOTRI:

Gangotri temple is 18th Century temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga. It is located near a sacred stone where king Bhagirath worshipped Lord Shiva Ganga is believed to have touched earth at this spot. Accordingly to another legend, Pandavas performed the great “Deva Yagna” here to a tone the death of their kinsmen in the epic battle of Mahabharata. The temple is an exquisite 20 ft. high structure made up of white granite.

Day 05 : Uttarkashi – Haridwar / Dehradun (169 kms. / 04-05 hrs.) (Drop)

After early Breakfast leave for Dehradun Airport/Haridwar Railway Station & Drop for onward journey.

Tour Plan

Day 01 Starting

Around 09:00 – 09:30 AM

You will arrive at Got pier in which the nice crew is waiting to welcome you with drinks, and then a cruise safety introduction. Enjoy lunch while feasting eyes on the scenic canals and islets of Da Chong (Stacking Stones), Con Vit (Duck Islet), and Gia Luan village (Cat Ba). You will spend the afternoon to explore Trung Trang Valley and Trung Trang Cave in the middle of Cat Ba Island. There will be also time to visit Tra Bau for swimming and kayaking.

Later, relax on this 5-star floating hotel; also, join the cooking show if interested.

Day 02 Relax

The relaxing morning with fresh air, majestic sunrise, and the nice view of local fishing life will be followed by an explorative trip on the bamboo boat to Bright and Dark Cave (Hang Sang Toi).

You have more time to explore Viet Hai fishing village, Da Chong Islet, Cat Ba National Park – Trung Trang Cave, Cua Van area, Ba Trai Dao Beach, Tra Bau area, Van Boi Beach, Ba Ham Lake, and Bright & Dark Cave. Take it easy to directly work with the tour agent on the detail

Day 03 End Tour

Get back to the cruise for farewell brunch, pack your stuff for the voyage back to the harbor.

In the meantime, enjoy photo hunting as the cruise peacefully sails across many islands and islets of Lan Ha Bay and Halong Bay
